The battery just swelled and the cover ripped out!

It pairs exceedingly well with the WM1ZM2.

The song “Black” by Pearl Jam I have overplayed as a teenager, so I don’t necessarily listen to it much anymore. But it came up on my Tidal radio and damn, the KR5 played it back so well, with so much body, emotion and viscerality.

A few days earlier, when I was testing the KR5 off the Hugo 2 for a review, I felt a bit fatigued. Of course, the source played a part but I also later realized that my lack of sleep from the night before was a likely culprit.

On a softer, more analog sounding DAP, the KR5 sounds balanced and can even become an all-day listen.

Definitely a keeper for me!
