Been A/B-ing these two. They have lots of interesting similarities. The KR5 is loud and proud in bass, has a ton of clarity in the upper mids and lower treble and on the peerless WM1ZM2, quite an all-rounder. I remember though how poorly it paired with the Hugo 2 and became frighteningly aggressive.
The Trifecta meanwhile ever-so-slightly surpasses the KR5 for timbre in vocals. Pianos sound incredible as well and while it has some bloody good bass, among the best, the KR5 probably surpasses it for pure bass quantity.
Second day with the Trifecta so will see if impressions evolve.
