Friends, before you buy any mid-tier DAPs and especially if you care about portability, the Aroma Air deserves your consideration.

Its only BT and doesn’t support USB and has a very minimal feature set, but I find it convenient in its minimalist approach. More importantly, it has a wonderful and mature tuning that is neutral and uncolored yet natural and analog. I really enjoy how Aroma tunes products.

I tend to use the Noble Sultan at the gym because I enjoy its energetic treble (and bass). The Air works with it perfectly.

When I need to crank up the bass and am also in the mood for a warmer profile, I use the Madoo. Lovely combo!

But I also have to say that the Aroma Air has gelled well with every IEM in my collection.

I also appreciate the Air for technical performance, particularly imaging and staging realism. Resolution is certainly no slouch either.

In sum, I highly recommend this device.

Hope more of you get to check it out and share impressions.
