For all you Elysian Annihilator owners, the DX320 MAX TI may be a DAP worth considering. Fixes (for the most part) the lack of tactility in bass (sub-bass) issue I faced.

I had bought the Anni from @Rockwell75 and then sold it off, because the bass didn’t sound realistic to me and the upper mids and treble were a bit dry-leaning.
But of all DAPs I have driven the Anni with, I would say the DX320 MAX TI has the best synergy with it and not just in bass, but in rendering the sound signature smoother overall.
I definitely find similarities in sound signatures between the ROHM-based Cayin N8ii and the DX320 MAX TI. However, they are different enough to have varying levels of synergy with different IEMs.
For instance, the N8ii on P+, SS, and Class A/B mode, has a more forward and aggressive sound than the DX320 MAX TI. I prefer this forward sound with certain IEMs, especially for rock and metal.
The 320 MAX TI is smoother overall and in stock mode, has far better bass impact!
