Got my N8ii last night. Not the most recent flagship but I wanted to add it to my stable owing to its brighter signature so I have a larger spectrum of sonic profiles with my sources.

In a straight shootout I still prefer my WM1ZM2 without the Tsuranagi even but with EQ: I prefer it by quite a margin.

On a different note, I am en route to Bangkok for some fun and I look forward to trying the DMPZ1 from Sony. I hope I don’t like it too much!
