The Letshuoer EJ07M was not on my radar because I tend to gravitate towards flagship stuff (like a lot of you lol), but because I couldn’t get my hands on the Letshuoer Cadenza (yet), I was curious to try the EJ07M.

Letshuoer is an interesting Chinese brand because they seem to be on the roll with one well-tuned IEM after another.

The EJ07M is no different. A very well-rounded performer, Harmanish presentation, which means a solid bass shelf that rumbles and punches, but a decent amount of air frequencies as well and a presence on the midrange.

However, unlike its competitors like the Variations and some Thieuadio IEMs at this price point, the EJ07M sounds more accurate to me timbrally.

On the track “The Heart asks Pleasure First”, the EJ07M nails the piano.

In general, instruments and voices sound very accurate on the EJ07M.

Meanwhile, I have had issues with timbre on the Variations and Thieaudio IEMs. The Variations in particular can sound a bit dry to me in the midrange.

The EJ07M also does drums really well. You really feel the reverb!

An easy recommendation at $600!
